Position Details:
This position offers an excellent opportunity to play a lead role on a high-performance engineering team developing state-of-the-art test and measurement solutions for telecom field applications. Use your strong design and analytical skills to confront challenges in the development of ruggedized hand-held test equipment. The successful candidate will have demonstrated mechanical engineering expertise in areas such as ruggedized electronic assemblies, thermal management in electronic systems, and molded plastics.

Required Qualifications:
*Minimum 10 years mechanical engineering experience focused on electronic assemblies. Telecommunications industry experience preferred.
*Extensive experience in taking designs from concept through volume production.
*Strong thermal design, analysis and simulation skills. Software: CFDesign preferred.
*Experience in the design of molded plastic parts.
*Experience in the analysis and simulation of structures under shock and vibration loads.
*Extensive experience with 3D CAD software. Pro/Engineer (Creo) preferred.
*Strong leadership skills.
*Strong written and oral communication skills.
*BSME (MSME preferred)
