Principal Process Engineer - Global Children’s Category
Identify and develop science based innovative products and processes for global product line. Provide influencingtechnical communication to key stakeholders, management, and team members. Lead cross-functional technical project teams to develop and deliver innovations. Apply understanding of core and alternate processing technologies to specify reliable, cost effective processes for product innovations. Apply understanding of technical and business practices necessary for successful qualification of new or revised processes. Network internally and externally to ensure access to information required for project execution. Scan available technology to meet potential business needs under consideration by the search and business development functions. Design experiments and apply statistical design concepts. Apply understanding of HACCP, GMPs, and regulatory requirements to process design and process qualifications. Incorporate understanding of corporate safety and environmental standards into execution of process trials and development of process strategies. Apply understanding of regionally unique customer needs towards delivery of optimal process strategies.

Job Requirements:
B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Chemical or Food Process Engineering or related technical field with at least 8 years process research and development engineering experience. Requires excellent leadership qualities and effective written and verbal communication skills to convey technical information to a diverse audience. Experience leading cross functional project teams is preferred as is experience with international manufacturing sites. Requires demonstrated ability to identify, develop, and incorporate innovative concepts and technologies into commercially viable processes. Statistical analysis, design of experiments, and process modeling knowledge and experience required. Must be able to work in a dynamic environment where a high degree of teamwork and collaboration are required. Some travel, including internationally, is required.
