Job Description:
Principal systems engineer with strong technical and leadership skills to support ongoing and emerging Highway Transportation Management Systems and Navigation and Landing Systems programs. Candidate would support system/software requirements development, algorithm design, and/or analysis. The candidate should have strong skills in all stages of requirements management, including verification and validation. Candidate would also perform system integration, dry running of test procedures, conduct of system tests, and production of test report material. Candidate must have hands on experience performing system integration, verification and validation activities. Further responsibilities may include leading systems engineering efforts on future tolling and GPS programs.
Required Skills:
-Minimum 8-10 years experience in Systems Engineering.
-Minimum 6 years experience performing integration, verification and validation activities and/or in requirement development and management, system and algorithm design and/or analysis
-Experience leading technical teams
-Experience with cost account management, EVMS
-Experience with Tolling and/or GPS systems
-Ability to obtain DOD clearance
Desired Skills:
-12+ years experience in Systems Engineering
-3+ years of technical team leadership
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Familiar with Raytheon IPDS process
-Familiar with IMS/IMP development
-EVMS qualified
Required Education(including Major): B.A./B.S. degree in Engineering, Science or Mathematics.
