Job Description:

Rocky Mountain Engineering (RME) is looking for a System Engineering Lead to be responsible for CI requirements and maintenance, use case development, team leadership, assessing new products and methods and oversight of a team building a system level simulation capability. The job includes but is not limited to reviewing and/or participating in document/peer reviews, walk-throughs, ERB/CCB cycles, reviewing requirements traces, deriving new requirements, analyzing requirement verification methods and event assignments as well as determining adequacy of system and IPT requirements baseline. The SE Lead works within the IM IPT and with segment level system engineering to assure requirements consistency from top-to-bottom. The SE Lead provides support to the development of applicable ICD and IRS interface documentation CDRLs, leads and performs additional tasks as assigned by the SIM IPT Lead and must maintain and update the applicable documentation related to the infrastructure they are supporting, and understand and follow the predefined process. The candidate must be able to work effectively with team members in a geographically dispersed collaborative environment. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance.







Required Skills/Knowledge:



- Minimum of 8 years Systems Engineering related experience

-Experience in Requirements management and derivation

-Experience with ICDs

-Experience with DOORS

-Experience with baseline management

-Experience managing specifications

-Experience working in a multi discipline environment

-Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.

-Ability to manage time and resources to meet assigned deadlines

-Ability to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance



Desired Skills/Experience:





-A background in satellite ground systems development is desired

-Experience in System Architecture

-Experience with Aurora Campus development processes.

-Experience with MS Access and MS Project

-Qualified Raytheon 6 Sigma Specialist



Required Education(including Major):





B.S./B.A. in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Logistics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Math.
