Bestica, nation's leading User Experience staffing firm, is seeking a Principal UX Visual Designer for a Fortune 100 client based in Seattle, WA, who will be supporting a product vision and creatively collaborating with User Experience Designers to deliver exceptional products.

The ideal candidate will have experience driving the visual language of a consumer product(s) while balancing between creative design and business deliverables and successful in partnering with a User Experience Design team with Development teams to deliver a delightful, Customer centric product.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Visual Design team to define the Visual style and movement of a Digital product
• Motivate  UX visual design teams and ensure that they are aligned in terms of feature definition, schedules, and deliverables with the other project teams  and with the details of the product
• Develop and maintain tracking of the Visual deliverables for the UX team, and partner with UX designers to document and communicate progress to the entire product team
• Link between partner teams and also monitors and drives clear deliverables for each sprint for the UX team in partnership with the UX Program Manager
• Partner with the Design Manager to track assets, develop production processes, monitoring budgets, hiring and managing of external contractors
• Exhibits excellent judgment is proactive and can negotiate challenging issues that result in moving the product forward

Basic Qualifications:

• 7+ years in Visual Design and product management
• Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years as a Principal UX Visual Designer/Creative Director for a consumer and/or entertainment products and managing Visual Design teams
• Extensive hands on design experience and a deep understanding of how a Design team integrates with Technical partners

Candidate must provide:
• An online portfolio or digital work samples

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with an e-commerce or consumer products company is a plus
• As an advocate for the Design team you should have the ability to think both strategically and tactically
• Drive Key Design issues across the product team and advocate for the best solutions both technically and from a design perspective
• Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills
• Innovative and self-directed
• Ability to deliver initiatives from conception through completion
