Divisions
URS operates through three divisions: the URS Division, the EG&G Division and the Washington Division.

The Washington Division provides engineering, construction and management solutions for infrastructure, power, mining, oil and gas, industrial/process and defense projects. The Division specializes in design-build and design-build-operate-maintain services for transportation systems and provides engineering, construction, modification and maintenance expertise for every form of power-generating facility. The Washington Division also manages high-risk, technically complex programs and facilities for the U.S. Department of Energy, including nuclear waste management and disposal programs.

Principle Compensation Analyst

Minimum Experience/Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred and 11 + years in Human Resources or closely related experience
OR 15+ years experience in related field
OR MS in HR, I/O Psych, or Business and 5-7 years Human Resources Experience
AND thorough knowledge of Compensation Programs and Employment Practices and Laws Certified Compensation Professional Preferred

Other Information
This position is regarded as the Subject Matter Expert and serves as the point of contact for Compensation issues.
This position makes decisions and recommendations on complex issues and exercises substantial judgment and initiative in planning and implementing projects and work assignments. Decisions may establish precedents for future policy and practice.
Work under minimal direction.
Analytical abilities are required for interpreting statistics/data and analyzing information and making recommendations to solutions.
Excellent written and oral communication skills are required to effectively express and promote complex ideas and information at all levels of the organization.
Must be computer literate and confident in using many different computer programs and applications.
US Citizenship is required for this position. Candidates must be able to obtain a Department of Energy security clearance.

URS Washington Division is seeking a Principle Compensation Analyst to be based in our Aiken, SC office to work on the Savannah River Remediation Project.

The position will provide comprehensive support, direction and leadership in the implementation and maintenance of Compensation Programs. The position will plan, design, develop, coordinate, establish and maintain Compensation Management Systems for Exempt and Non-Exempt employees. Programs include merit and promotion salary planning; evaluation and maintenance of job descriptions, job titles, and salary grade levels; administer SRR Incentive and Rewards Programs; conduct salary surveys and review Market Comparison Data for salary planning; maintain Compensation Budgets; prepare and submit annual Compensation Plans and Budget Proposals to DOE for approval; administer the Technical Review Committee Program; develop strategic Human Resource Management tools for the Senior Staff; present Compensation Programs to Senior Staff; maintain consistency in the application of SRR Compensation Policies and Practices; and work with external vendors/consultants in the design, development, and implementation of Compensation Programs.
