Uline seeks a Private Label Designer at its Corporate Headquarters in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin (just over the IL / WI state line).

 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Work with Senior Private Label Designer to create and update artwork.
  • Design, update and produce Uline’s Private Label cartons and product labels.
  • Maintain Uline’s brand identity across all projects.
  • Coordinate and manage Private Label projects with Merchandising Department.
  • Organize, illustrate and produce Uline's Private Label instruction sheets and parts diagrams.
  • Work with domestic and international vendors to determine print specifications and due dates.
  • Send artwork to vendors and review / approve Private Label proofs.
  • Mock up samples and create 3D models if needed.
  • Work on a variety of projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Maintain Private Label files and archives.
  • Attend vendor visits.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years experience in a creative, marketing, advertising or design environment.
  • Strong ability in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign.
  • Ability to take art direction and constructive feedback while collaborating in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Word, Access and Excel.
  • Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills.
  • Experience with database use and entry.
  • Ability to do light-duty lifting a must.
