DescriptionManage internal audit, SOX and risk advisory projects as a member of the management team within the Process and Controls (P&C) practice, and in accordance with the client's risk management strategy and EY's internal audit and SOX 404 methodologies. Review the work of Staff and Senior P&C professionals and ensure high quality in client service by directing daily progress of fieldwork, informing supervisors of engagement status, and managing staff performance. Conduct timely performance reviews for Staff and Senior level employees and help to develop and guide staff and other junior P&C professionals by providing effective performance feedback/training and ensuring team responsibilities that are consistent with skills and developmental goals. Lead by example. Generate new business opportunities. Identify business development opportunities and assist Partners and Senior Managers on proposals and new business opportunities by drafting responses, participating in the proposal process, building client relationships, demonstrating knowledge of client business and communicating directly with target company. Work with high-growth clients and other market leaders in the Banking and Capital Markets (BCM) industry. Establish audit objectives and scope of work; establish the engagement budget; and take responsibility for the overall execution of the audit project through wrap-up and final report delivery

Requirements:
  • Must have Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business, plus 5 years of related audit experience or applicable asset management business experience at a financial services company or comparable experience working as an advisor to a financial services company; or, a Master's degree in accounting, finance, or business, plus 3 years of related audit experience or applicable asset management business experience at a financial services company or comparable experience working as an advisor to a financial services company
  • Must have willingness and ability to travel approximately 50-70%.
  • Must have proficiency with MS Office and Lotus Notes
