Maintaining, developing, and enhancing advance process technology packages and engineering packages as it integrates to the rest of polysilicon plant; Preparing proposals with technical details and equipment pricing (CAPEX) for different scopes as per customer needs; Working with research and technology group for special task such as fluid bed reactor internal sizing; Comparing and optimizing different polysilicon production process from technical and commercial point of view with research and technology group; Preparing OPEX (Operating cost) of polysilicon projects as per client scope as well as internal optimization efforts; Interacting with special equipments manufacturing or process technology vendors to provide effective cost evaluation of specialty equipments required in the process; Interacting with Operation team for various design inputs to ensure good design and give inputs in troubleshooting; Providing PFD and preliminary P&ID development; Developing material and energy balance; Designing and rating packed and tray towers using CHEMCAD or Aspen Plus 2001 and KG Tower 3.2, SULCOL or equivalent distillation column design vendor program; Designing and rating of Shell and tube, Pipe and pipe, multi heat exchanger using heat exchanger design software; Providing tanks, agitators, drums, and filters sizing; Providing Pump performance evaluation using hydraulic calculations and line sizing calculations, utility system design and optimization using process simulator such as CHEMCAD or Aspen Plus; and Participating in P&ID review and HAZOP meetings for process design inputs.
