Highland Industries, Inc., a leading manufacturer of engineered industrial fabrics, automotive safety fabrics and coated substrates is currently seeking two (2) Process Engineers to join our facility in Cheraw, SC. 

The ideal candidates will have a minimum of two (2) years experience as a Process Engineer in a fast paced manufacturing environment.  Additional information is listed below for this exciting opportunity. 

General Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for an assigned process or product
• Develop programs and/or methods to optimize production by reducing overall costs, improving delivery and quality for the customer 
• Establish and audit processes and products to ensure adherence to company quality standards
• Recommend and implement corrective action plans
• Analyze processes and recommend floor layout and facilities justification
• Participate in overall product strategy, development and manufacturing coordination for new and emerging products
• Track market trends relative to fabric formation
• Minimal supervisory responsibilities
• Reports to Weaving Superintendent or Finishing Superintendent

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline with two (2) to seven (7) years of related experience
• Prior work experience in a manufacturing production enviroment consisting of weaving or finishing processes
• Familiarity with TS 16949 Quality Standard and ISO 14002
• Presentation skills
• Interact with associates from all levels
