Salary

·       In charge of set-up personnel and assisting setup with difficult setups and resolution of specific setup problems

·       Sampling new molds, evaluating their performance, and troubleshooting problem molds and auxiliary equipment

·       Setting basic process cycles for each tool and preparing process data sheets for input into the computer

·       Responsible for new injection molding tooling (molds, wire rails, inserts, load bars, etc.), as well as modification and improvement of existing tooling.

·       Taking steps to ensure that all production activities are conducted in a cost effective manner, consistent with quality standards. 

·       Monitoring each machine and taking necessary steps to alleviate production and machine problems as they arise

·       Ensuring that safety procedures are followed during the establishment of processing cycles

·       Recommending changes and modifications to plant equipment in order to improve operating efficiency and control costs

·       Working with the Estimator to establish cycles for quotes on new and revised components

High degree of skill in the operation and maintenance of injection molding equipment

Ability to follow complex instructions and effectively supervise production employees
