Description of Duties: The Process Engineering Technician duties will include, but not be limited to: executing tasks in support of process engineering development in a wide range of technology development projects; working alongside a diverse group of CNSE process engineers working to develop and implement 32nm semiconductor process technologies in the 300mm semiconductor development facilities. Candidate will consult with the CNSE Process Engineering Manager to determine key areas for project/program support and training opportunities; provide essential support to the CNSE engineering team to ensure process development contributions are provided to key customers in a timely and successful manner; this includes critical lot tracking/moving, recipe development and transfer, executing experimental splits, relevant metrology setup and failure analysis for wafer samples.
Minimum Qualifications: An Associate’s degree in an engineering or science related discipline from a college or university accredited by the US Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization OR equivalent experience which includes at least 2 years of semiconductor industry or research and development experience. Candidate must have a working knowledge in one or more process tools or modules required to build advanced CMOS devices; must also demonstrate proficiency in computers and IT infrastructure, project planning, and forward thinking for contributing to process solutions for advanced integration flows; excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be able to address in their applications their ability to work with culturally diverse populations.
Preferred Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or science related discipline
