Process Improvement Businsess Account Manager

About the Job

We are looking for an Business Account Manager for the Denver Colorado market.  The ideal candidate will come from a Manufacturing or distribution background with strong customer focus working with large key accounts.  This candidate will have strong systems background and process improvement experience.

 

·         Manage   matrix organization responsible for all aspects of customer service for customer including: order processing, operations and inside sales.

·         Report monthly and quarterly through internal management and customer Strategic Alliance management team, financial and non-financial Service Level Metrics such as, but not limited to: Program Spend, First Cost Savings, On-Going Cost Savings, Automation Savings, Operational Savings, On Time and Complete Shipments, Fill Rate, Program Compliance, and the like.

·         Facilitate process improvement solutions through program sourcing vendors, establishing effective policies and procedures.

·         Coordinate and deliver spend, both direct and indirect to divisions and end users in an effort to maximize total value proposition.

·         Work closely with all aspects of Procurement, Sourcing, Engineering and senior management functions to ensure constant relationship building efforts are underway.

·         Develop Strategic systems integration tools working with ERP system to drive process improvement

·         Work with Engineering Standards to consolidate and substitute material for cost savings. This includes converting customer requirements to preferred supplier base and negotiating positive cost side negotiations.

·         Produce positive operating margins to through key programs.

·         Develop and coordinate a comprehensive strategy for program rollouts that will allow to introduce capabilities and all aspects of the current program along with key stakeholders.

·         Manage and direct LEAN Value practices and processes  with customer on a go forward basis.

Requirements

·         5 + years in program, operations or account management with national accounts over 10 million in spend.

·         Strong ERP system experience

·         Must have  customer alliance integration background

·          Need Supply chain and process improvement experience

·         Experience with MRO and VMI programs preferably in the Energy  or Power Generation sector

·         Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Ability to drive business relationships at many levels with customer and internal employees.
