Job Description:                                                   

The Process Technician is responsible for maintaining standard cycle times and making the necessary process adjustments to consistently produce parts that meet the company’s quality standards. 

Job Responsibilities:                               

1.      Maintain standard cycle times and quality standards for each product.

2.      Troubleshoot common molding problems and perform corrective action in a timely manner.

3.      Accurately report any tool or equipment problems.

4.      Make process adjustments to produce quality parts.

5.      Proper start and shut down molding jobs, including the set-up of tools and all auxiliary equipment if necessary.

6.      Perform mold changes in a safe and expedient manner.

7.      Complete all required documentation in an accurate and timely manner.

8.      Complete any tasks or other duties as assigned by the Shift Supervisor.

Qualifications:                                                         

The individual must have experience equivalent to at least 5 years of processing in the plastic injection molding industry.  The individual must be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently.
