This position is responsible for supporting thin film vacuum coating operations on various machines in areas of tooling prep; equipment clean-up and preparations; substrate inspection; coating; sampling and testing; SPA/ Ditech/ stripping operation in a safe manner in accordance with the JDSU’s Safety Charter.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required, AS or AA Degree a plus. Manufacturing background preferred. Successful candidate will have experience in a thin film coating environment or with systems utilizing high vacuum manufacturing processes. Must have a valid CDL; pass respiratory certification testing; and be able to meet the physical demands of the position (including safely lifting up to 50 lbs.).
