JOB DESCRIPTION:

The company seeks a strong Product Coordinator to provide a broad range of support to the Product Manager to drive the creation of the Key Product Lines.  The Product Coordinator will facilitate communication of product specifications to overseas factories and with Creative and Sales teams while tracking this progress in the item database.  The Product Coordinator will secure artwork and packaging, track showroom samples and assist in showroom and meeting set-up, and sample reviews.  Individual must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.  This position requires an organized and assertive individual that can multi-task, prioritize and achieve deadlines. Must be detail oriented.  Individual must have working experience in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.  Must have the ability to create spreadsheets, formulas and pivot tables.  Requires a strong work ethic and a "Can-do" attitude.

 



RESPONSIBILITIES:


60%  Assistance with stock line and OEM development.  Communicate specifications for new product designs and product revisions to overseas factories via e-mail. Enter product details into database. Partner with factory to ensure database accuracy.


 


   10% Manage timeline to achieve deadlines for product artwork, packaging, photography and sound.


   This includes providing direction of needs and following up.







 


10% Manage and update Product Line PowerPoint. Create Marketing PowerPoint presentations, and for Sales and Customers.


 


   10% Track showroom and customer samples from factory and ensure on time distribution. 







 


   5% Set-up samples for review. Maintain organized reference sample storage. Facilitate purchasing of


   reference samples.







 


5% Stay abreast of retail.  Shop stores on a regular basis and report on findings that support current lines and new opportunities.  Create price point and competitive product analysis.


 


QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Must be able to speak, write and read both English and Mandarin; Taiwanese and Cantonese are a plus.

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum 1-2 years professional business experience

  • P.C. skills.  Must have experience with Microsoft Office and database systems with an excellent working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment with team-oriented interpersonal skills.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • Meticulous organizational skills and attention to detail, while maintaining focus on critical deadlines.

  • Flexibility and ability to make sound business decisions.

  • Analytical and creative problem solving skills.
