EX-100 AIR PURIFYING ESCAPE RESPIRATOR
· NIOSH approved
· Comes with a blower built in that turns on by itself when its taken out of the case
· Comes with it’s own a proctetion case
· The automatic blower is a way to make it feel less closed in for the wearer. Other hoods don’t do this.
· EX100 has passed factor testing and is rated “Unparalled” in the NIOSH Laboratory Respiratory Protection Level (LRPL) test protocol
· The army does the test at the Edgewood Chemical Biological Center in Edgewood, MD.
· EX-100 tested to show very, very high protection levels.
· The fit factor1 (FF) averaged 97,953 for 60 test trials. 52 of them came out with an FF over 100,000.
· The least FF was 66,143. Thats much higher than the NIOSH FF 2,000 or greater requirement
1 Fit Factor is the ratio of the challenge concentration outside the hood to the concentration inside the hood.
