Electrix Illumination is a manufacturer of architectural specification grade products looking to add a key new member to our growing team.  We are looking for a self motivated individual with the following skills:

• Proficiency in 3D modeling - Solid Works Preferred


• Experience working with aluminum extrusions, die-cast parts and sheet or machined metal parts is required


• Experience designing lighting fixtures would be ideal


• Optical design or LED fixture design experience is a plus


• An understanding of UL requirements and application a plus


• B.S/B.A. in Industrial Design, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred


• Solid communication skills and a rapid response positive attitude in the workplace

You will be responsible for developing and executing new product designs for a fast growing company with an aggressive plan to expand their offering of architectural specification grade products.  You should be comfortable working in a fast paced environment with excellent project management and organizational skills.  The ideal candidate is a team player who can work effectively to support sales and marketing in developing literature and other support materials for new product designs.  Compensation is commensurate with experience.
