Description:

This position is in our emerging Product Development Department.  The candidate will help manage and coordinate product development projects. Evaluates and resolves technical feasibility, design optimization and production issues.  Ensures that labeling and marketing /promotional literature match product specifications.  Researches and monitors existing client base and industry developments and identifies potential new product opportunities.  Works with other departments to establish a design, technology, and product development and vendor strategy.  Manages project budgets and prepares financial analysis reports for top management.

The responsibilities of the Product Development Engineer will include but are not limited to:

• Project management


• Product Design – 3D modeling & AutoCAD

Qualifications/Experience:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite


• 1-5 years hands-on experience

·        Product and Project Feasibility Analysis Experience

Relevant Skills and Attributes

• Good internet research skills


• A fundamental understanding of materials and manufacturing


• 2D and 3D CAD proficiency a must

Desired Education/Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, or equivalent.
