Currently HPS has an opening in their Leeds, AL facility, located minutes outside of Birmingham, AL for a Product Development Engineer/ME.

The Product Development Engineer will prototype and design for manufacturability, coordinate UL/CSA/IEEE product testing, troubleshoot, provide failure analysis and product enhancement. Aside from standard duties, must be willing to help with other tasks and assist other team members as needed.

Requirements: BSME. Must possess a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the Utility/Power distribution industry. Project Management experience required. Experience in structural design, FEA, materials and switch design are desirable.

Ability to relocate in future for promotion is preferred. 

Travel: Up to 25%.
