We are currently seeking to fill the position of:

Product Development, Production and Sourcing Manager

Primary Purpose: Accountable for all stages of the product development, production and sourcing process. This position drives the development process through product specifics, resolution of issues and identification/recommendation of alternatives in partnership with Design, Sales and Marketing. The operational objective is to be achieved within business timeline requirements delivering product of highest quality and aesthetic appeal. This position will source product domestically and internationally. The position will work closely with our domestic factories to ensure quality control and timely delivery.


The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Product Development to...

• Manage day to day contact with Design to achieve aesthetic intent, meet target margins and call out potential manufacturing and/or quality issues.


• Work with suppliers to create first prototypes to Design Approval.


• Operate with a complete understanding of the development process (which includes Marketing, Sales, Design, Sourcing, Purchasing, and Production).


• Manage and prioritize the request for initial prototypes from all suppliers to insure business timeline requirements are met.


• Supervise the sending of tech packages, original reference samples, prototype materials, and all pertinent information to suppliers.


• Act as the primary communication coordinator for cross functional meetings to focus on sample development status and needed action from support teams.


• Ensure all initial Bill of Material information is consistently updated and accurate. Work closely with all cross-functional partners to ensure information is current and available for inclusion in Bill of Material documents.


• Deliver primary communications to all affiliate parties consistent with agreed protocols.


• Partner with Design and senior Management to gain resolution on costing.


• Oversee recap of all meeting issues and follow up as needed with responsible parties to meet associated deadlines.


• Support and develop staff, partner with management to establish development goals and action plan to achieve them.


• Aligns with other team leaders to determine process improvements, best practices and develop talent.


• Strategize and prioritize Development activities including deck creation, walls and sample WIP management.
