Guides preparation of very complex sketches, design layouts, and other specifications.

Develops standardization of very complex materials, components and assemblies.
Develops and maintains detailed and comprehensive records of all inventive ideas, designs, and basic improvements.

Duties
Responsible for managing the Supply Chain and Manufacturing (SC&M) activities of medical device related product development projects.
Support the development of project plans for the implementation of instrument and software products into both internal and external manufacturing operations.
Guide project activities, including driving deliverables, generating status reports and metrics, defining scheduling, budget, scope, risk, and resource management.
Responsible for identification and implementation of SC&M best practices across all projects managed.
Applies advanced skills to resolve complex problems not covered by existing procedures or practices independently.

Project management experience (min 5 yrs) with PMP Certification preferred (Project Management Institute or equivalent).
Experience (3 – 5 yrs) working in a regulated (ISO, FDA) manufacturing environment with a preference for new product introduction.
Experience in establishing supply chain strategies and their implementation.
Experience with design & manufacturing tools & principles involved in the production of precision devices, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of high quality goods such as “ Lean” and Design for Manufacturing and Assembly
Experience in the development and implementation of test equipment both internally and externally.
Typically 8-10 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.
Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience, where applicable
