In this key product management role, the Senior Product Line Manager will be responsible for specifying, developing and maintaining a product line within 2Wire’s suite of Home Networking products throughout the product life cycle.

• Responsible for product strategy, planning, and execution throughout the product lifecycle.
• Plan, develop, and maintain marketing materials (strategic messaging, data sheets, white papers, etc.) for their product lines.
• Produce and maintain written Product Requirements Documents for the engineering team.
• Synthesize market and customer requirements to write new product specifications and marketing plans. Provide executive reviews of product plans and detailed feature reviews.
• Manage P&L for Product Lines to maximize revenues and profit margin, while ensuring that products perform at, or better than, target goals. This includes taking an active role in managing cost/performance trade offs.
• Assist Product Marketing to perform marketing and trend analysis, including gathering and analyzing data from sources such as audits, surveys, focus groups and external databases.
• Assist sales managers and marketing department with preparation for sales meetings, trade shows and major sales presentations.
• Assist in development of collateral and packaging materials including creative strategies, copywriting, technical advising and approval review.
• Develop the highest level of “end-to-end” understanding of your product and business.
• This position may perform other duties as assigned.

• BA/BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or relevant work experience. MBA preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience with a track record of success.
• Self-starter with proven abilities to lead and motivate cross-functional teams as well as individuals within an organization.
• Must have specific experience in managing telecommunications hardware products; broadband connectivity products (DSL, Cable, Fiber/PON); IP routing products and QoS; Wireless AP products; IP based services delivery; Voice over IP / SIP.
• In-depth understanding of Broadband and Home Networking technologies, market realities and trends, awareness of industry.
• Strong communication and verbal presentation skills.
• Strong technical and marketing written skills.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Proven financial acumen with a successful track record of P&L management.
• Self-motivation, ability to work in dynamic environment and organize the team towards the project goals.
