Product Manager

Zacks.com is a leading online investment research provider based in Chicago IL. We seek an experienced investment professional to become our Product Manager leading the charge for the mutual fund and ETF sections of our site. This is a brand new position that will provide significant upside potential to the right individual.

Responsibilities

In our book a Product Manager is the person who wakes up every morning with 1 goal; do whatever it takes to make more profit for their business unit. In this case, that Product Manager will concentrate on the new sections of our site that highlight investment research on mutual funds and ETF’s. They will coordinate with multiple teams within our company to create a great user experience and monetize the traffic. The internal teams they will work with will be web development, marketing, sales, editorial/content, R&D and customer service. Again, the key is to manage every aspect of this business line to maximize profits.

Qualifications

·         College-level degree required

·         2-3 years investment industry experience minimum

·         Strength in mutual funds and ETFs

·         Previous experience in a web based business is preferred

·         Strong written communication skills a plus (ex. Writing investment articles)

·         Organized self starter

Compensation

Salary will be paid commensurate with experience. P&L bonus will be paid commensurate with ability to deliver bottom line results.
