Description:
We are looking for a Product Manager position. The role is crucial to deployment of our proprietary market-share measurement system(s) for wireless operators throughout Latin America and beyond. Reporting to the company’s CEO, and managing a production staff, this individual will be expected to contribute as a team leader.
Responsibilities:
• As the leader on the team, you will be supporting all development, analysis and validation tasks
• Participate in multiple analysis projects to improve the understanding of proprietary market-share data and ultimately helping to increase the value of the products by supporting the underlying information
• Perform detailed, custom analysis on SS7 signaling
• Work on cross-functional teams to identify and resolve problems as well as assist with new products and custom deliverables
• Drive automation of analysis and custom deliverables
• Be an expert on the wireless industry (Brazil in particular)
Experience:
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- At least 5 years hands-on experience managing wireless networks
- In-depth working knowledge of software architectures and IT deployment architectures, including diagramming tools/techniques;
- Strong knowledge of database technology and relational database design.
- Experience with enterprise reporting, and tools ranging from Microsoft Excel to high-end BI tools.
- Knowledge of other HTML and Java programming.
- Strong interpersonal and client facing skills
- Experience with wireless communications a strong plus, especially:
- Knowledge of SS7 telecommunications protocols;
- Knowledge of wireless protocols such as GSM, TDMA, CDMA, UMTS, EV-DO, HSDPA;
- Geographic Information Systems and related tools, such as MapInfo
- Knowledge of SS7 telecommunications protocols;
