- In this position, you will define and drive product development to ensure industry-leading feature/functionality of Visa Prepaid Processing Product set. Lead competitive, market, industry, customer and business and performance analysis, identifying key product metrics and profitability drivers. Identify and increase opportunities to increase card penetration and distribution channels. Identify and implement key enhancements to increase product profitability and cardholder satisfaction.
- Responsible for writing concept and scope documents, detailed business requirements, product specifications and web requirments for both new products and enhancements to existing products.
- Collaborate with functional areas such as business development, account development, IT development and support, QA, and operations to develop and provide product definitions responsive to customer needs and market opportunities. Plan and communicate plans for the implications of changing market dynamics. Ensure final product reflects client and market needs. Provide ongoing support for existing and future products and services.
- In addition, you will support the sales, implementation, and customer service organizations in the sale and delivery of existing and future Visa Prepaid Processing products and services.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience is required; 5-10 years experience in electronic funds transfer, retail banking or card processing is required; Web based product experience preferred. Strong knowledge of the Prepaid industry and the card payments business is required.
- 3-5 years experience in product management or product development in the financial services industry is required. People management and cross-functional experience with sales, marketing, client development, finance, development and product owners.
- ACH processing, Regional Network, Check Card Processing, or Back office/Settlement experience is a plus.
- Outstanding writing skills to communicate complex concepts to a broad audience. Negotiating skills and strong interpersonal skills to influce cross functional team decisions. Ability to work creatively with strong problem solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and demands. Demonstrated ability to work in a complex organization to determine business and customer needs and to build solutions to meet those needs.
- Ability to make decisions based on avaliable data and consultations, considering short and long-term strategic goals.
