Role:
Work to create strong relationships with fund families on TD AMERITRADE's platform with responsibility for product management, fee negotiation and overall relationship management within the Product Group in PMCE. This position will be responsible for providing TD AMERITRADE clients with a leading mutual fund and ETF offering in the industry while increasing shareholder profitability.
Responsibilities:
Meet with fund families to build relationships in order to increase mutual fund sales, grow assets and increase product profitability
Build and maintain close working relationships with key business partners in order to understand and influence business strategies, priorities and direction
Work with Operations and Legal regarding mutual fund contract management and manage the execution of mutual fund agreements end to end
Ensure that priorities and/or special projects as assigned align with business and CEO goals
Work with our Competitive Intelligence group to monitor and report on the competitive environment
Work with Marketing and Retail Distribution to provide education and promote TD AMERITRADE as a leading mutual fund and ETF destination
Requirements:
Bachelors degree, Master of Business Administration a plus
Series 7, Series 66 (preferred)
Minimum of 5 years experience in financial services
Mutual fund industry knowledge is desired
Must be self-motivated with an outgoing personality and work well in a team setting
Outstanding communication, listening and negotiating skills
Possess the ability to excel in a competitive, fast paced environment
Capable of quickly building good rapport with cross-functional teams
The ability to work independently with a high degree of quality
Well-developed communication skills with an assertive and dynamic personality are essential
Minimal Travel (2-3 times per year)
Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
Strong knowledge surrounding the web development process including BID preparation, requirements development, design, development, quality assurance and user acceptance testing.
