Product Manager - Naperville, IL

Nalco has an opening for a Product Manager in our Global Equipment Group located in Naperville, IL.  The Product Manager will primarily be responsible for developing new and innovative equipment solutions to meet the needs of the WPS, Paper and Energy Services markets.  The equipment will meet the changing needs of our marketplace and will address the growing needs for water use reduction, water re-use and disinfection.  The candidate will be required to work closely with the business organizations, introduce new equipment ideas, take projects from inception to commercialization, standardize equipment packages and reduce cost of product.  A key component will be the candidate's ability to create a strong marketing plan with buy in from key stakeholders and then turn it into successful deployment.  The candidate will need to manage global projects.


The minimum qualifications the candidate will have include:  
  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering

  • Experience with filtration, membranes, softeners, disinfections and automation equipment

  • Experience serving water treatment marketplace

  • Marketing or product development experience

  • Project management skills

The desired candidate will have professional experience to include:
  • Sales or consulting experience 

  • MBA

  • International Experience

  • Foreign Language
