We are currently looking for a Product Marketing Manager.
The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting all product marketing and inbound marketing needs for the Industrial Business Unit(IBU) to profitably grow the IBU business. This includes, but is not limited to: creating market analysis, defining market requirements, creating competitive analysis reports, driving product roadmaps, preparing and communicating market and product forecasts, creating new product introduction programs and managing product financial performance.
Essential Functions:
* Coordinate all facets of IBU product activities to maximize product revenue and profit growth.
* Complete market analysis, market segmentation and competitive analysis.
* Work with the engineering and sales management to establish and execute and manage the product roadmap.
* Work with IBU engineering and execute projects to document customer and end-user product requirements.
* Create, publish and own market forecasts, product forecast. Work with BU Controller to create and manage product financials.
* Execute product roadmap through new product introduction programs including: direct interface with customers where appropriate, defining and communicating product requirements (feature, function, channel and pricing), coordinating new product introduction tasks throughout organization.
* Develop and publish market and product positions, and BU capabilities which can be deployed as selling tools.
Identify and execute external communication engagements including publishing white papers, article content, and speaking opportunities.
* Actively support Salesforce.com and Miller and Heiman Strategic selling techniques.
Other Responsibilities:
* Meet regularly with the sales team to keep informed on sales funnel activity.
* Communicate market and product information to internal stakeholders.
* Participate in cross BU marketing initiatives or trainings as required.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in business required. MBA desired.
* Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible product marketing/management experience required. 2 years of experience in the display industry strongly preferred.
* Strong verbal, written and presentation skills required.
* Knowledge of various Internet research tools essential to success in this role.
* Demonstrated strong project management skills required.
* Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com.
* Demonstrated strong financial analysis and financial modeling skills.
* Self-directed and self-motivated. Tenacity to find an answer.
* Strategic and independent thinker.
* Capable of successfully working and communicating with a variety of internal and external customers.
* Demonstrated experience with international markets, including Europe and/or Asia/Pacific.
Other:
* May require some domestic or international travel, less than 15% of time.
* May require non standard hours to meet business needs.
