SUMMARY OF POSITION

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Inc. seeks a Manager, Brand Marketing for the Marketing department. Under direction of the Director, Marketing, the WBIE Manager, Brand Marketing is responsible for the development, management and execution of the global marketing plans/strategies for WBIE’s Kids & Casual digital games. The candidate will be a driving force in the brand marketing efforts of WBIE’s developing digital games business. Duties include P&L management, development of worldwide creative materials and marketing strategies, and execution on North America marketing plans. The Manager, Brand Marketing interfaces with various WBIE divisions including Trade/Retail Marketing, Public Relations, Operations, Finance, and International as well as other WB and Time Warner divisions, developers, brand and promotional partners, and First Parties to execute on cross-divisional and cross-promotional opportunities supporting the titles.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, orchestrate and execute comprehensive global marketing plans from beta to launch and beyond for assigned products including maintaining brand, developer and vendor relationships.
  • Oversee the global brand development of advertising, promotions, direct marketing, interactive marketing and PR activities associated with assigned brand. Maintain deliverable dates and be accountable for timely delivery of materials worldwide.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Publishing Team to ensure brand and LIVE marketing efforts sync up to result in maximizing monetization of assigned titles.
  • Create and execute on complete US marketing plans to ensure the most impactful marketing program for the target audience.
  • Work with the regional teams around the world to integrate their needs into global plans.
  • Provide analysis on existing and emerging digital marketing channels and trends to evaluate future digital opportunities.
  • Collaborate with digital publishing, sales and trade teams in presenting assigned products to retail partners and developing distribution strategies to support monetization efforts, maximizing revenues and profits for all assigned products.
  • Collaborate with PR team in developing PR roll-out plans and support PR efforts with the creation of compelling art assets to secure best placements.
  • Establish and nurture relationships across internal and external partners.
  • Leader in championing his/her product assignments across the WB studio and to various internal departments to inspire excitement and support.
  • Assist in the development and analysis of consumer insights. Contribute to long-term product planning, best practice analysis, and post-release product performance analysis.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • BA/BS degree required.
  • Coursework emphasis in business/marketing strongly preferred.
  • 4+ years experience in digital marketing (games/entertainment fields preferred). Candidates with kids/casual digital experience preferred. 
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, analysis and the ability to work across multiple teams.
  • Excellent analytical, verbal, and written skills.
