Full Time Contract Product Safety and Compliance Associate

 DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with information gathering (e.g., for SAP) and database management for regulatory compliance (e.g., REACH)
• Data entry of scientific or regulatory information.

•          Contact suppliers to obtain MSDS and compositional information.  Will require follow-up.

• Collate, print, archive, and upload reports in numerous databases.
• Read and proof documents to determine the quality of reports and to mine data.
• Create and write summaries of data found in documents.
• Export data from a variety of databases and compile into other formats/documents
• Project work as needed and available.

SKILLS/JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in a life science and at least 1 year of experience working in a regulatory compliance/EHS/scientific department/company
• Familiar with chemical, biology, or toxicology terminology.
• Proven experience in numerous databases.
• Proficient in MS Office
• Must be detail oriented. 
• Strong communication skills.

Length of Assignment:  1 year term and re-evaluate
