A global manufacturer of foam products and just in time Assembly & Sequencing has an opening for a PRODUCT/SALES MANAGER in the Detroit Michigan area. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of OEM experience in working with Assembly & Sequencing or modular coupled with sales & commercial management. Candidate will possess a University degree in Business or Engineering. Working knowledge of the industry’s Assembly & Sequencing operations, processes, practices, and products with emphasis on contract/program management, purchasing, engineering/supply requirements, full supply chain management process, pricing/margin management, and customer relationship management. Must have sales experience. Candidate should have strong computer skills, excellent organizational/interpersonal/communications skills, strong financial skills with a full understanding of budgeting and commercial issues, along with a proven track record in the successful management and mentoring of a professional management team.
DUTIES
· Develop and execute marketing & business plans required to support the Assembly & Sequencing Business Unit’s global growth initiatives.
· Establish and maintain relationships with both internal and external customers while providing support to all applicable groups as required.
· Develop and deliver presentations
· Lead, coach and mentor a group of Program Managers to ensure accomplishment of all business objectives.
· Develop and oversee customer specific contracts inclusive of pricing strategies, full supply chain management initiatives, LTA’s, VAVE and continuous improvement initiatives.
· Provide direction for all aspects of Program Management interface internally and externally including; project timelines, design information, launch detail, engineering/process detail, financial matters, and customer service matters.
