A Product Security Engineer is responsible for assisting product development teams throughout the company in identifying, assessing, and countering threats posed to the product.  Specific responsibilities may include performing risk and threat analyses on a variety of products and services, designing secure protocols, performing software security audits, mentoring software developers in secure coding techniques.

Applicants should posses at least two years of experience (work or academic) in the field of computer security and, specifically, performing risk and threat analyses.  Ability to work in groups as well as independently with minimal supervision is a must.  Applicants should have expertise in two or more of the following areas:

-Software Security
-Hardware Security
-Security Protocol Analysis
-Cryptography
-Embedded Platform Security
-Operating System Security
-Digital Rights Management (DRM)
-Tamper Resistance
-Consumer Device Security
-Network Security

The following skills will be considered a plus.

-Software development experience (ARM Assembly, C, C++, C#, .NET, Java on ARM, VxWorks, Windows CE/XP, Linux)
-Knowledge of wireless communication systems and protocols (CDMA/GSM/UMTS/UWB, Bluetooth, 802.11)
-Experience with static software analysis tools (Coverity, Fortify, Klocwork)
-Knowledge of secure protocols (SSLT/TLS, PKI, RSA, ECC)
-VHDL
