Role Summary/Purpose Build your career and experience the advantages that come with working for the “World’s Most Admired Company” (Fortune Magazine) offering significant opportunities for growth and career advancement!The Centricity RIS-IC (Radiology Information System) Install Base Product Manager role in the America’s Radiology Workflow business is responsible for supporting and representing the customer install base through effective product planning.
Essential Responsibilities The product manager will work directly with engineering, services team, and customers to analyze issues and plan and execute the product roadmap for resolving complex issue and driving continued product enhancements. * Lead RIS-IC install base upstream marketing activities to gather voice of the customers, define user and system requirements, and work with engineering to deliver compelling enhancements, update packages, and minor/maintenance product releases. Ensure customer/ clinical input for detailed requirement. * Work with customers to define, document, and share best practice product workflows and user and system requirements as formal input to engineering programs. * Provide product leadership and definition across the product line for New Product Introduction (NPI). * Provide thought leadership with customer install base through regular presentations and lead focus groups both in person and online expertise to the internal organization through providing consultation, review, training and occasional RFP questions. * Contribute to internal operational readiness marketing activities including product training for new releases. Serve as product representative for FDA complaint process. Manage full life cycle of products, including product end of life activities and customer migration plans and definition. * Participate in overall product roadmap planning - translate business opportunities and product visions into multi-phase product plans.
Qualifications/Requirements * Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years experience in radiology software as an application manager, product management, project management, support, installation, or software engineer* In depth product knowledge of Radiology Information Systems (RIS) software and clinical understanding of radiology workflow* Experience in analyzing and designing end user workflows, or writing software user requirements* Must be willing to travel 10%* Must be willing to work out of an office located in Burlington, VT* Must be willing to submit to and successfully pass a drug test* Must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including for example, verification of your past employment, criminal history, and educational background* Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States* Must submit your resume through gecareers.com or a job board to be considered for a specific job opening Additional Eligibility Qualifications GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work.
