Product Support Engineer
Integware seeks a Product Support Engineer to debug internet application software that is used in some of the world’s largest medical device, life science, and consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies. Engineers are responsible for providing innovative approaches to troubleshoot our software solutions including debugging, reviewing, analyzing, and tracking fixes. All engineers will be recognized as subject matter experts. We seek candidates with very strong character, values, and integrity.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Product Support Engineer is a member of the R&D team and is responsible for level 2 and level 3 support of software products to implement Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) for Life Sciences based on the ENOVIA Matrixone framework. Primary tasks include debugging internet application software by recreating customer defects, isolating and troubleshooting, creating fixes, writing test plans to validate fixes, and generating hot fixes for customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Install software and configure systems to recreate customer environment·
Recreate user scenario to verify defect·
Use software debugging tools to isolate bug·
Modify software to create fix·
Write test plan to verify that the bug is fixed·
Build hot fix releases for customers·
Track and prioritize defects across multiple products·
Interact with service delivery and framework partners·
Work with R&D development engineers, technical writers, and testers
REQUIREMENTS
This is a Product Software Engineer position, typically requiring 3-5 years of experience. Ability to quickly learn new material is essential. Flexibility is needed in covering issues that arise.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information SystemsExperience:

1+ year of internet application development·
Basic database admin: Oracle, DB2, MySQL·
Basic app server admin: Tomcat, Weblogic, Websphere·
Basic system admin and troubleshooting: Windows, Linux, Unix (AIX, Solaris)·
