Overview


 


RollEase is seeking a motivated individual to plan, direct, and coordinate work activities and resources necessary for manufacturing products in accordance with cost, quality, and quantity specifications.


 


Responsibilities


 


          Enter and post work orders as needed.


 


Print and maintain custom label database.


 


Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.



Hire, train, evaluate, and discharge staff, and resolve personnel grievances.


 


Maintain and approve weekly timesheets and vacation schedules.

Prepare and maintain production reports.

Set and monitor product standards, examining samples of raw products or directing testing during assembly, to ensure quality products.



Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, maintenance, and other operational reports, to detect production problems.


 


Perform labor time studies

Review plans and confer with research and support staff to develop new products and processes.

Institute employee suggestion or involvement programs.


 


Assures safe workplace.


 


Enforces company policies and procedures.

Coordinate and recommend procedures for facility and equipment maintenance or modification, including the replacement of machines.

Review processing schedules and production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, and duty assignments, considering budgetary limitations and time constraints.


 


Executes special projects as assigned by Director of Operations

Able to read, write and speak English language. Spanish as a second language is preferred.

Strong knowledge of company production operations and priorities.

Professional communication skills: will be required to speak and write to vendors and internal RollEase staff.


 


Education/Experience


High school diploma/GED required


Prior expediting experience in a manufacturing environment


Experience with an ERP/MRP system (if possible, AccPac)

            General housekeeping of stock area, warehouse and shop floor.


           


            Streamlining of procedures/Cost savings.


 


            On time delivery of assembled items.
