The American College of Radiology, a professional association for radiologists, seeks a Production Coordinator to work in its Publications department in Leesburg, VA. 

The Production Coordinator will coordinate production activity, oversee communications and publications trafficking, monitor schedules, and prepare and organize correspondence throughout the pre-publication process. Other duties will include: answering any production-related questions from staff and vendors, preparing regular production status reports, and researching production-related problems and providing solutions.

Qualified candidates will have one to three years scientific, technical, and/or medical (STM) publishing experience (preferably within an association environment); familiarity with STM terminology, online tracking systems, and standard publishing protocols; excellent computer skills, the ability to solve problems independently and meet multiple deadlines; the ability to work as part of a team; and will have excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Knowledge of Editorial Manager and Edit Express desired. Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience required.
