The production lead is responsible for attainment of safety, quality and production goals. This is a 24/7 facility and the candidate should be open to working various hours. 



What we offer

Ensures all workplace safety and housekeeping standards are met; addresses noncompliance issues
Ensures adherence to established policies and procedures; addresses issues and concerns in a timely manner
Train employees on work operations, safety and quality standards; ensures employees follow established work procedures and quality standards
Maintains work flow by monitoring steps of process, facilitating corrections and resolving problems
Monitors, gathers, and documents performance metrics and visual controls
Maintains production records and documents
Monitors and tracks timekeeping and attendance; issues corrective action as needed
Recommends improvement in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and work conditions
Performs accident investigations
Communicates with other shifts, departments, areas to ensure effective handoffs between shifts and operations
Assists operations and maintenance to ensure goals are met


Who we are looking for

2 year degree preferred; prior experience in supervisor or team lead role preferred3-5 years experience in production operations Thorough knowledge of customer process standards and operational work instructionsKnowledge of OSHA safety regulations in manufacturing environment Ability to demonstrate problem solving and root cause analysis skills Ability to lead and motivate employeesDemonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to coach and counsel employees on performanceWorking knowledge of Microsoft Excel and general computer understanding (emails)Ability to work flexible shiftsPhysical requirements include ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time
