TRANSTAR INDUSTRIES, INC., the leading worldwide distributor of OE quality transmission parts to the motor vehicle repair industry, is currently expanding operations at our Recon remanufacturing facility in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. We are seeking qualified candidates for the following position reporting to the General Manager:

Production Manager

Responsible for managing production of remanufactured torque converters, using Lean Manufacturing principles. Plan and assign workloads, balance production schedules to meet customer demands and develop performance measures. Ensure quality, safety, productivity and cost improvements.

Successful candidates will have 5-7 years of related experience in a lean manufacturing environment, with 3-5 years of management experience. Experience in a remanufacturing environment is strongly desired. Other qualifications include excellent problem-solving skills, communication and organization skills, along with proficiency in MS Office. Bilingual English/Spanish required.
