A medical device manufacturer in the Texas Gulf Coast are is seeking a manufacturing engineer for a production management position.  This position has potential for rapid growth.  The qualified candidate will meet the following requirements:

- BS in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial engineering

- Management/Supervisory experience

- Experience with ERP system and knowledge of planning methods

- Medical device manufacturing experience

This position will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production from controlled environment operations, machine shop, PCB assembly, electrical and mechanical assembly and final test.  Responsibilities include:  Production performance to schedule; ECO Implemenation; Production quality and regulatory compliance; Manufacturing standard costing maintenance; Capacity planning; Cost reductions, process improvements, scrap reduction; Manufacturing equipment maintenance; Production employee training and performance reviews; Machine shop planning and scheduling; Bill of Operations creation; New product planning and projects (special work orders); Rework scheduling; Equipment calibration; Production organization; Production standard operating procedures writing and maintenance; Building maintenance; Process validations (IQ, OQ, PQ).
