Expectations for this role:
- Embodies passion and commitment for creating the best quality products for our cafes in an efficient manner. Has real time responsibility for teaching and enforcing the standards for production
- Works closely with the FDF Manager to provide a consistent and honest message to the associates through daily guidance and motivation
- Always on the look out for new ways to keep the FDF moving forward effectively, and willing to change and adapt to deliver high quality product to our customers.
- As a developer of others, he/she will create an environment where every associate is challenged to grow and develop. Rewards for positive performance, Educates on our concepts and values and develops bench strength within the FDF.
Expectations for the first 3 - 12 Months:
- Work with a diverse group of assoicates to develop a "Team Panera" approach to producing quality products and a safe and desirable work environment
- Develop the existing lead associates to become more professional and proficient as leaders in the production processes.
- Ensure proper process controls are in place and followed to ensure consistent safe and high quality product is delivered each day to our customers.
- Upon learning the Order processing system and production processes, take responsibility for inventory control and accuracy.
Skills Required:
- 3 - 5 Years Management experience in a Hands On, Bakery Manufacturing Environment
- Good Organization and Time Management Skills
- A good understanding of working within a budget and meeting those goals.
- Experience with developing and coaching associates
- Proficient in Training associates in Safety, GMP's and use of Bakery equipment.
- Accustomed to working in a Microsoft environment - and fairly competent in Excel.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English would be preferred
- Open to future relocation - we like to promote from within
- Shift will be primarily on a 2nd shift operation - We operate 7 days a week.
