Production Operator

Position Summary

Marks, lead forms, lead straightens, polarizes, tapes and de-tapes discrete semiconductors in accordance with work instructions.

Position Responsibilities

• Operates various machines that mark, form, and cut leads on devices.

• Performs various production processes such as lead straightening, tin dipping, ink dotting and diode polarizing.

• Performs in-process inspections.

• Enters start/stop times of processes performed into computer system.

• Verifies quantities of devices using scale; identifies shortages/overages.

• Monitors bake times; loads and unloads ovens at scheduled intervals.

• Tends manual and automatic equipment that inserts surface mount device (SMD)
   components into tape reels.

Position Requirements

• HS diploma or GED.
• Team attitude and customer focus.
• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions 
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and  decimals.
• Familiarity with basic PC skills, and knowledge of Microsoft Word.

Position Preferences

• 3-6+ months related experience.
• Experience with ISO9001:2008 Quality Management System.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Word are a plus.
