The successful candidate must possess a high level of motivation that will drive the dynamic, fast-paced consumer product driven challenges of the production plan.

Responsible for the creation and execution of the production plan and all supply chain processes related to procurement of raw materials, inventory control, and production scheduling to fulfill customer demand. 

As a Production Planner you will will interface regularly with the Manufacturing Shop Floor and will be involved in Production control, Shop Floor Control, Procurement and Problem Solving as it relates to meeting customer requirements, cost reduction initiatives, and syncing supply with demand.

Experience:

• 2+ years experience in production planning, purchasing, or customer service with a solid understanding of requirements planning and inventory control .


• Experience working with Offshore Vendors preferred.


• BS in Business or related field preferred.

Skills:

• Effective communication and leadership skills


• High degree of problem solving skills


• Highly proficient in Windows based computer applications, especially Excel




• Please note there is Excel testing involved in the interviewing process


• Ability to focus on the tactical details


• Ability to identify trends and plan accordingly while maintaining consistent workflow and customer service levels
