We presently have an opening for a Production Planner for our manufacturing facility located in Mequon, WI.
Position Duties:
• This role will apply advanced material management concepts and controls to insure continual flow of material to all areas of the operation while minimizing inventory levels and maintaining accurate inventories.
• Accountable for the preparation and execution of scheduling to meet customer’s delivery requirements.
• Effectively communicate with peers and the senior leadership team as well as with various departments and plants.
• Implement and sustain continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Requirements:
• Requires a Bachelor’s degree with a strong emphasis Operations Management, Business or other related discipline.
• Excellent customer relationship management experience and a strong ability to solve complex problems effectively to meet and/or exceed customer expectations.
• Must possess strong knowledge of Temporary Labor Expenses, Direct Labor Expenses
Shop Floor control and production scheduling.
• PC proficiency to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) along with Microsoft Outlook, and knowledge of supply chain management software such as JD Edwards.
• APICS certification is a plus.
