Title: Production Sanitation Team Leader (Central Kitchen)
Location: Middlebury, Indiana
Key Responsibilities:
-Responsible for maintaining GMPs and sanitary standards, from structural, equipment and food safety aspects
-Coordinates and verifies cleaning responsibilities for both Sanitation and Production employees
-Must have working knowledge of all production equipment and the ability to disassemble, clean and reassemble equipment in sanitary manner
-Must be knowledgeable in areas of chemical usage with a Food Manufacturing facility
-Responsible for completion and documentation of the Master Sanitation Schedule
-Maintains cleaning equipment and chemicals inventories for accuracy and proper usage
-Responsible for leading and directing team with their daily job assignments
-Performs Ppst-Op inspections on all equipment to verify cleaning effectiveness, sign-off and release back to production
-Conduct Sanitation Self-Audits with management team along w/plant and provide Corrective Action support
Qualifications:
-Able and willing to work some weekends and holidays
-1-2 years experience leading a team of Sanitors in a FOOD MANUFACTURING facility
-High School Graduate (or equivalent)
-Basic mathematical aptitude
-SQF certification will be required, training will be provided
-Must be able to lift at least 50+ lbs, able to stand on feet for the shift and be physically active
-Mechanically inclined
-Self motivated
