About Our Client:  Become a member of one of the largest food manufacturers and distributors in the world.  Our client has been in business for over 100 years and produces and markets many of the products and brands with which we all grew up.   They will be adding a Production Supervisor to their manufacturing team.  The successful candidate will become part of a company that values their employees and develops them for future career opportunities our client has to offer.


 


 



Key Responsibilities: 


A Production Supervisor will be responsible for:



  • Leading a production operation of approximately 30 operators.
  • Creating a team oriented working environment.
  • Leading continuous improvement efforts so that production operations will become more efficient.
  • Coaching and training Production Operators to ensure safe work habits are being practiced.

 


 



Job Requirements:


The successful candidate will have:



  • A Bachelors Degree.
  • Two plus years of production supervision experience in a food manufacturing facility.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and lead a high performance workforce.
  • Understanding of safe food handling procedures and regulatory requirements.
