Job Purpose:
Produces products by monitoring production levels; recommending adjustments to process setting; supervising staff.
Duties:
*Direct supervision of operators, leads, packers and other line workers.
* Meets production operational standards by implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying process improvements.
* Meets production financial standards by controlling and minimizing production expenses.
* Maintains product production by observing process volumes; recommending process adjustments.
* Records production by completing daily shift production reports; calculating yields and recoveries.
* Maintains flow of operations by communicating production status, requirements, and problems to next shift.
* Maintains working relationship with all departments.
* Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
* Accomplishes manufacturing and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Skills/Qualifications:
Supervision, Motivating Others, Teamwork, Developing Standards, Resolving Conflict, Coaching, Safety Management. Food manufacturing/packaging background, Bi-lingual in Spanish and English is strongly preferred.
