Supports Production Manager by ensuring efficient execution of the production schedule, product quality, planning and executing maintenance programs, and communicating with customers and key leadership team members.

Responsibilities:

·         Lead production teams to ensure safe and efficient manufacturing operations.

·         Detailed, timely communication with logistics team, quality assurance, customer service and customers on production status. Responsible for maintaining Deacom system information for current production status.

·         Work with the logistics team in planning material needs for upcoming production. Timely communication with customers and logistics team regarding these issues.

·         Training and managing frontline production personnel.

·         Ensure all products produced in adherence to our quality standards and requirements.

·         Assist with production scheduling to ensure production schedule meets customer requirements and enables efficient operations.

·         Communicate and work with the maintenance department to ensure production machinery is maintained to ensure efficient operations.  

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail with a high level of organization working in a fast paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in Microsoft Office with acute knowledge of spreadsheets and database management.
• Prior system experience with ERP, MRP, and WMS preferred.
• Previous experience in production or supply chain in the food industry strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and quality assurance requirements.
• Training or experience in process improvement preferred
• Maintenance experience a plus
