We currently have an opportunity at our York, PA facility for a Night Shift Production Supervisor for hours 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM. The description and qualifications are as follows:
Description:
· Responsible for the leadership of a production crew with regards to safety, quality, efficiency, and consistent application of best practices.
· Handles day to day production documentation and ensures its accuracy and timely input into reporting systems.
· Provides training to shift personnel to ensure all personnel have the tools necessary for optimum performance.
· Provides a floor presence and understanding of the processes adequate to set the example for others to follow.
· Utilizes data systems to identify areas of opportunity for continuous improvement.
· Ensures that all products produced meet or exceed GPC and customer specifications.
· Oversee the performance of all quality.
Requirements
Experience Needed:
· Previous 3-5 years supervisory experience and/or exposure leading Teams and/or employees in a Manufacturing or Operations environment preferred
· Must be proficient with computer software applications of Word, Excel, Outlook, and preferably SAP.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
· Must interact in a positive manner with employees to plan product supply and develop working relationships in plant and with customers.
· Mechanical aptitude required
· Utilization of statistical process control systems desirable.
This is a position that will provide for opportunities into other operational management positions and as such, we are looking for candidates with high potential aspirations.
Education:
· BA/BS strongly preferred
