Job Summary
- Create and maintain functional descriptions and required procedures
- Recruitment, introduction and performance of development plans and reviews with employees in the area of responsibility
- Supervision, coaching, development and motivation of employees in area of responsibility to meet business objectives
- Identification of training needs; publish a formalized training matrix
- Oversee the production process and assist in the drafting of the production schedule
- Ensure planned KPI's of efficiency and performance are met or exceeded
- Monitor the production process and adjust schedules as needed to support customer deliveries
- Ensure implementation and evolution of safety procedures
- Ensure implementation and evolution of quality procedures
- Work with management to implement company policies and goals
- Implement and drive continuous improvement activities through implementation of change management process and best practices
- Develop and track improvement in reduction of planned hours
- Ensure planning and requisitioning of required consumables for production
- Reporting of possible time and cost overruns while performing the operations.
- Reporting of technical deviations using the NCR system.
- Evaluating of new equipment to improve production performance.
- Support the technology transfer from Alstom global technology centers
- Keeping the working environment and equipment in a clean and proper condition
- Daily maintenance of equipment in area of responsibility
- Positive communication of company programs, procedures and information from the Management.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Candidate must meet the Minimum Requirements for the job:
- Minimum of 2-years Associates degree (Manufacturing)
- Bachelors degree prefered
- Minimum 10 years experience in production processes related to GT-reconditioning
- Minimum 3 years experience in supervision of production workers.
- Minimum 3 years experience with production ERP systems (f.e. Syteline, SAP)
- Experience in 6-Sigma and lean production projects.
- Ability to co-ordinate, delegate and monitor progress.
- Ability to set priorities and to act in a target oriented manner, following production KPI's
